Hiring the Village Hall - Information
The Hall is currently extremely busy. Should you wish to enquire about a booking please email to the address below your name and address, date and duration of your planned hire, why you want the hall (eg wedding reception, children's party, family celebration, badminton etc) and the proposed number of people attending.
Could you please also say whether you wish to view the hall before booking.

KNIT AND NATTER
Come along to the hall to join friends or make new ones and at the same time improve your knitting or needlecraft skills. Call Sally on 07815 043831 for more details.

Presents Sun Power Yoga. Union of the mind and body through the breath, helping to create balance and ease both physically and mentally.

U3a Line Dancing for Beginners
We are a U3A group and you would have to join (£15 per year), but can visit for one session (£1.50) to see if you would like to join us. There are of course many other group activities within U3A which you may also enjoy.

We do traditional and modern English and American Country dances. All dances are walked-through before putting them to music, and called throughout, so you don't have to remember all the steps!

Burton Overy Dancers
We are a long-established club that dances a mix of traditional and modern English and American Country dances. We welcome dancers of all abilities from beginners to those who have been dancing for many years.

Burton Overy has had a Village Hall since 1922. The hall, situated in the quiet backwater of Rectory End, comprises two 18th century cottages, previously the homes of gardeners employed at the Rectory.
The cottages are a now meeting room, and a new modern hall, with a kitchen built to the rear. The Hall accommodates village and private functions and is well used by the clubs and societies of the village.
