TEMPORARY TRAFFIC REGULATION ORDER:- ELMS LANE
A road closure is required on Elms Lane on the 12th January 2021 for 4 days.
The Temporary Traffic Regulation Order will be implemented for public safety for Cadent Gas to undertake new domestic service connection.

TEMPORARY TRAFFIC REGULATION ORDER:- MAIN STREET AND THE GRAVEL
A road closure is required on Main Street and The Gravel, Burton Overy on the 7th January 2021 for 1 day.
The Temporary Traffic Regulation Order will be implemented for public safety for Leicestershire County Council to facilitate carriageway patching works.

New measures in force after avian influenza case confirmed near Melton
A Control Zone was declared this week by the Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs (DEFRA) after a case of avian influenza was confirmed at a site near Melton Mowbray. This means it is a legal requirement for all bird keepers in the affected area to follow increased measures in an attempt to reduce the risk of spreading avian flu in the bird population.
