Covid vaccinations for over 70's
We have been asked to share the following information with our community:-
Please find attached a news release regarding Covid-19 vaccinations.
Patients in Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland, aged 70 years and above or classed as Clinically Extremely Vulnerable are being invited to book a Covid-19 vaccine at one of three hospitals sites.

(Another) Upcoming Road Closure
We have been advised of another impending road closure. This time for Carlton Lane on 22nd February for 2 days to facilitate maintenance work to cattle grids.
The alternative route is shown on the attached plan.

Assistance with the roll out of the Covid 19 vaccination Programme
Leicestershire Partnership Health Trust is calling for additional clinical & admin staff and volunteers to assist with the roll out of the Covid 19 vaccine in the County.
They are looking for people to work in a wide range of different capacities to support the roll out of the vaccine.

Temporary Traffic Regulation Order - Road Closure
We have been advised that a Temporary Traffic Regulation Order (Road Closure) is to be made for Scotland Lane, Burton Overy - see attached plan.
The purpose of the TTRO is to allow Severn Trent Water to undertake short pipe renewal and is anticipated to last for a period of up to 3 days commencing on the 15th March 2021.

Temporary Traffic Regulation Order - Road Closure
We have been advised that a road closure will be required on Beadswell Lane on the 3rd March 2021 for 3 days.
The Temporary Traffic Regulation Order is necessary to allow Severn Trent Water to facilitate installation of boundary box and meter.

Leicestershire County Council Trading Standards Service Scam alert – Covid-19 vaccine scam text
Criminals are taking advantage of the Covid-19 vaccine rollout through a convincing Scam text to steal people's personal and financial details
The text contains a link that leads to a convincing fake NHS website with an application form. It asks for your bank / card details in order to 'check identity'.
The NHS will not ask for payment.
